The garden and grounds were beautiful and well kept. A beautiful oasis close to the center. Very quiet and comfortable. Staff was welcoming and attentive. The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are light and clean, and the staff are all so lovely. Situated on the beach, its the perfect location and El Cuyo is a lovely quiet town, perfect for relaxation.

Hotel Zamna Boutique is centrally located 1 km from Merida Cathedral. The colonial-style hotel features an outdoor pool set in tropical gardens and seating areas with Mexican art. This is a gem of a hotel in a perfect location about 10 minutes walk to the centre. The hotel itself is lovely, spacious rooms, relaxing pool and hammock area, beautiful dining area with a kitchen you can use any time to make a drink or use dishes etc. The breakfasts are delicious - wonderful granola, yogurt and lots of fruit, and a small cooked breakfast too - different every day! But it's the staff that really stand out! They are exceptional! They arranged a private driver and guide to take us to Uxmal one day. Unfortunately my husband had a lot of pain with his Achilles tendon. They arranged for a physiotherapist to come to the hotel and treat him, twice, while we were there! Talk about service! We highly recommend this hotel and would return in a heartbeat if we go to Merida again!

We were glad to be able to leave our car in the enclosed secure courtyard at the front of the house. We were happy to find the home very clean. The living area is very large ..as are the 2 , upper floor, bedrooms. Adequate fresh bottled water was left for our use in the kitchen. The wifi was good and the power stayed on. The house is enclosed with an 8 ft. wall , so felt secure . Beds were comfortable ..and the master ensuite was nice too.
