Sascha, Aleksandra and little Mia were such gracious hosts! The villa is absolutely stunning, the grounds are beautiful and my room was very clean and comfortable. It's the perfect spot for solo travellers. I met great people at the villa who soon became travel buddies and are now friends. Giorgio was wonderful, answering any questions, making sure I had everything I needed. If you do yoga / meditation there is a beautiful sanctuary set up on the grounds where you can practice. Absolutely sublime! I had the most amazing trip and Villa Clarissa was a big part of that.

Rhonda could not have been nicer and made everything so easy and painless. Rhonda organised a lovely surprise birthday message on the bed with dried petals for my 40th and also upgraded our room to a Sea View option as it was vacant. And my what a view that was! Absolutely stunning. The outdoor space and facilities that came with the room were super impressive. Loved the apartment itself - very comfortable bed and what a bathroom! There is also a lovely path/ hike down to a secret little deserted beach from directly outside the property. This was a lovely start to our day one morning. If I was back in Castara, I would 100% stay in Castara Inn again as my first choice. I get that it is a bit further of a walk up a very steep hill! But we rented a car (through Taylor's rental) while in Castara, and this made getting around A LOT easier. I would go with the car and Castara Inn option over staying down the road in other more expensive places just down the hill.
