Sala Resort Plateliai in Plateliai provides accommodation with a garden, a bar and a terrace. The resort far exceeded all expectations. Our group booked one of the cabins and we were blown away by the amenities, onsite restaurant and spa. The grounds were quiet, clean and everything was easily accessible. The spa was a fantastic way to finish our trip, very relaxing. The beds were comfy and the cabins quite spacious. The only downside was not being able to stay longer!

Located in the western Lithuanian town of Plunge, Hotel Porto, by Siaulai-Palanga and Taurage-Mazeikai route. It offers free internet access, free on-site parking and a restaurant. We had a 5 star experience! Not only hotel has a convenient location, we had a room with windows to the countryside, so it was very quiet. Very beautiful gardening, clean and well designed, wonderful breakfast (I have seen quite a few...), good coffee and a lot to do for young children! I could sit in terrace and enjoy dinner while my 3yo was having fun in the playground next to it - the playground was surrounded with a fence, so it was safe as well. The hotel has even 6 bowling lines... The staff was super friendly, even carpenter smiled and welcomed us when we passed by. I truly did not expect everything being at this level for this price. It is a bargain and we had a great time. 6 from 5 stars from us.

I really appreciated the fact, that the owners chose quality and it can be seen everywhere. Even in the little things, like the air freshener smelling really nice, or the toilet paper holder being high quality. Alll the furniture, the utensils, the electronics were beautiful and high quality and a pleasure to use. The best thing ever was this patio furniture hammock/bed thing that we found outside, it was so comfortable to lay in and we got to enjoy the view of the pond and various species of birds swimming in it while drinking our morning coffee. We got a bit lost on our way there, but the owner was helpful in sorting that out. Lake Plateliai is a short walk away, so you'll have plenty of things to do while staying here.
