Where do I begin to describe paradise? I am so glad I booked into Leopard Reach as my base for the Yala National Park because I had a truly unforgettable taste of luxury in the jungle. I loved it so much, I stayed two nights. This is a truly special place, with only a few tent-lodges. In fact, I was the only guest on the property, and was treated like a queen. The interior of my room was top quality, with all amenities. And the private mini pool on the terrace was extremely welcome. On both nights I had an exceptional dinner; the first night consisted of a Sri Lankan curry with so many lovely dishes, and the second was an al fresco BBQ, prepared just for me. Breakfast was served on my private terrace. I cannot speak highly enough of Fonseka, the General Manager (the quintessential host) and his trusty team of Randika (what a great guy), Lakruwan (who makes the place run like clockwork) and Kasun (the Chef). We didn't sleep at the cabin because there was a problem with the booking but the host did everything to organise a place to sleep. We had 2 wonderful safaris on a motorbike and Danushka was an amazing guide with a lot knowledge. We could take a look at the cabin and it was a wonderful place with great view and a pond nearby.

Everything is perfect! We enjoyed everything during our stay! the place is superb lovely, friendly and welcoming staff, sweet and polite pets, beach is clean and wild. Wifi works for email checking. Tiss is about 20min by bike where you find bigger supermarkets, then lots of small shops nearby where you can find water and cigarettes.

Top tip : Hotel owner Mrs.Dilhani arranged our Safari and made us delicious breakfast packed in a containers to carry with us while on safari.We had an absolutely brilliant day and I would love to recommend White House Inn - Thissamaharama to other travellers. In short, the place was great 👍. The location was great (in a nice quiet area but still close to the city), the room was clean, the beds were comfy and the staff was very attentive. We had an issue with one of the door locks and they promptly offered us another room. Breakfast was great as well. Really enjoyed our stay, and will definitely come back.
