Lovely place located centrally but tucked away from the busy road where it was really peaceful and close to nature. Was a great place to relax after our safari tour. The rooms were spacious and had everything you'd need to be comfortable. As I read from previous reviews about the bathrooms... they were indeed very unique and cool! The best of all, the host & his family are very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend to stay here!

Very hostile and communicative owner. Very nice and quiet place. Just monkeys sometime run over the roof and make noise. Accomodation is roughly 600m from the elephant orphanage. There is nothing in direct vicinity but jungle. Good breakfast after safari. Safari arranged by the owner, we got picked up directly in the accommodation.

Offering a barbecue and views of the garden, green view safari resort is located 8 km from Udawalawe National Park. Very nice host family and very clean and comfortable!!! Amazing stay!!!!

The rooms are beautiful and the staff is very friendly. We did the safari at the hotel and it was amazing. Our driver was very good and we saw a lot of elephants up close. Breakfast and dinner were both good. Near a beautiful river, designed with the environment in mind. Highly recommended for a few days stay.

It’s more than a stay, it’s an experience. The location is simply breathtaking, tucked deep in the rainforest, high up on a hill, and only accessible via an an off-road drive in a 4x4 vehicle provided by the villa. We took a guided tour to the Sinharaja rainforest from the property, but just staying in the villa felt just as special. The food was exceptional, prepared on-site by local staff using fresh, organic local ingredients. Without a doubt, these were the best meals we had during our three weeks in Sri Lanka. Everything was fresh, flavourful, and beautifully presented in the most stunning setting. I highly recommend not only breakfasts, but also lunches and dinners in the villa, they were amazing. Our 6 and 9 years old enjoyed it as much as my wife and I did. The swimming pool is another highlight. Clear, well maintained, and offering a spectacular view of the surrounding mountains. It was the perfect way to unwind and cool off after a rainforest hike. We arrived not knowing exactly what to expect, but the villa far exceeded our expectations. If we had more time before our flight back home, we would definitely extend our stay. An unforgettable experience.

We were met with tea and bananas - it's so important after a long way. This place in Udalawawe has fair price because when we were trying to book a room in other places for the prices we saw on the site, later it came obvious that the prices are actual only if you also book safari in this or that exact place. In Olivi palace you see the real price, if you don't need safari, it's okay. It was perfectly clean. The design of the room is sweat and nice. The place is very close to Elephant transit home.

You’ll be surrounded by lush greenery and the peaceful sounds of the forest—truly an escape from it all. The staff here were awesome—super friendly and welcoming. Big shoutout to Asanka, who went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. It’s rare to find people who genuinely care, but that’s exactly what you’ll get here. The food was just amazing! The Sri Lankan dishes, in particular, were a highlight—so much flavor, and everything tasted fresh and authentic. From delicious curries to all the classic local sides, it was honestly some of the best Sri Lankan food I’ve had. If you’re looking to relax, enjoy great food, and be around wonderful people, this place in Belihuloya is definitely worth checking out!
