The hotel is in a beautiful location with amazing views of the mountains. The staff were very friendly and made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable. We especially loved the balcony with the great view. The food at the hotel was delicious, with both local and international options. Breakfast definitely a highlight! The staff went out of their way to help with anything we needed, including arranging transportation to do things in the area (Big shoutout to Majit). Overall, I highly recommend Majentra Ella Hotel for anyone looking for a relaxing stay with great food and service.

All units at the bed and breakfast are equipped with a seating area. A balcony with an outdoor dining area and mountain views is offered in each unit. The units include a private bathroom, free toiletries and bed linen. Kasun hotel was an amazing place to stay. The rooms were very nice and clean, The beds were comfortable, the staff super friendly and the food was great. Just a 20 minute and beatifull hike to see diyaluma waterfalls. The views from the hotel are 10/10. I would 100% recommend this place to everyone

They were on top of every little detail (e.g., they had an emergency kit, a flashlight, etc.). Breakfast was great and staff was very nice.

Tranquility Ella offers a hot tub. The area is popular for cycling, and car hire is available at the accommodation. The location is fantastic, and the view you wake up to do actually stays with you. Enjoying breakfast and reading my kindle while overlooking that scenery definitely captured the “tranquility” the name promises. The staff were extremely helpful, courteous, and efficient.

I stayed there 1 night, room is nice and clean, family is super nice and helpful,. Location is not in center but owner takes you from station with a tuktuk for free and can arrange trips with tuktuk . They have a nice garden and share their yummy products they grow with you :)

Guests can take in the views of the lake from the balcony, which also has outdoor furniture. There is also a seating area and a fireplace. This place is a dream, it felt so calm and serene, incredible view and totally private, with great WiFi and a lovely host who could bring food and drink when needed. It’s a little further out and involved a scooter or grab to get there but it’s worth it for the setting.

À la carte and continental breakfast options with warm dishes, local specialities and pancakes are available. Guests may relax in the on-site lounge, while packed lunches are also available upon request. The exceptional stylish and comfortable accommodation and beautiful gardens complimented the stunning views to Horton Plains NP , Udawalawe reservoir and the south coast . You awake each morning to the sound of birds while during the day it is so peaceful and relaxing . Thankfully no aircon needed here since the very fine insect screens allowed windows to be open to enjoy the fresh mountain air. We stayed in the deluxe suite downstairs which now has an additional dining area , and there are 3 lovely rooms upstairs . See the gorgeous pictures online . You can take a dip in the lovely pool or the owner Munira can suggest and help arrange other activities in the surrounding areas. Having driven for 5 weeks, this was a perfect spot to unwind . It was lovely to chat with Muni who built this wonderful property and all the staff who extended friendly and caring hospitality . Our best stay in Sri Lanka . Thank you Muni!
