The place is really special! The host is super nice and helpful. While staying at Mr. Hiro’s place you can feel the real Japan. The whole place was very clean and there was a cozy onsen inside. We highway recommend it!

Also, both the Japanese restaurant and The Bar are astounding in design n service.

Leave plenty of time to get here by public transport, since the final bus to Meteobuchi only runs a few times per day (after which you can organise a shuttle bus to the hotel). The outdoor onsens were absolutely gorgeous, the food was delicious, and the traditional rooms were beautiful. Highly recommend more than one nights stay to make the trip worthwhile.

Very traditional, very friendly staff, professional and welcoming. The onsen is really unique. The dinner and breakfast options were a different experience - though if you are not a fan of oriental food, there is not much to eat. But the process was really great. The hotel rooms are big sizes with great facilities and amenities are in general excellent.

Should be quiet after 9 pm. Highly recommended to everyone, especially groups with kids.

The villa has an outdoor fireplace and a hot tub. Everything was absolutely perfect! The villa was spotless, beautifully designed, and fully equipped with thoughtful touches. They even welcomed us with fresh fruits and premium A5 wagyu, which was such a lovely surprise. The BBQ setup had everything we could possibly need from charcoal and safety gloves to multiple types of tongs. The jacuzzi instructions were easy to follow, and the cute bath bombs made the experience extra relaxing. The view was stunning, and the location was very convenient just a short drive from Shinkyo Bridge and other main attractions in Nikko. Truly the best villa I've ever stayed at!

Everything you need for a weekend trip to Nikko is provided and the beds are outstandingly comfortable! Also the surrounding is so quiet, we slept very well. It is also very close to the stations which is convenient.

The food was exceptional, such an experience really recommended to book the dinner plan. Very not touristic in the best way, hart to find in Japan.
