Our traditional style room was very nice and surprisingly comfortable. The staff was well trained, professional, and polite. We have been picked up at the bus station and brought to the hotel on arrival, as well on our way back. We could enjoy the public and private onsen as well which as a very nice experience, especially seeing Mt. Fuji from the private onsen as a small family. The kaiseki diner we had after bathing was superb, and it was an experience on it's own. Even we only spent one night there, we could relax and wind down. We opted to take the cable car nearby to see Mt. Fuji, and rented some bikes to cycle around the other day before we departed from the town.

Fantastic surroundings, comfort, facility. Everything was what we had hoped for and more!

Fuji Speedway Hotel, in The Unbound Collection by Hyatt offers 5-star accommodation with an indoor pool, sauna and hot tub. The area is popular for hiking and cycling, and bike hire is available at the accommodation. From the first step in till check out the stay was perfect: great service, amazing facility with incredible desing up to every piece and a very high level cooking. We loved to stay there. .

The location was easily navigated by google map and close to the Main Street which takes 5-10min drive to supermarket and convenience store nearby, and about 10-15 min drive to local restaurants. Not too close to lake kawaguchiko tourist area ( i wasn’t the one driving but it felt like a 20-30min ride) and the outdoor living space and neighborhood was quiet.
