Our room was really bright, clean & tidy and the rooftop lounge was breathtaking!! Wish we could’ve stayed longer. We will definitely stay here again for future visits to Kyoto ♥️

They offered lots of services that make touring Koya-san easier, such as a night tour and baggage storage after check-out. All meditation and ceremonies had clear, informative explanations in English and Japanese. Out room was modern and very comfortable, it far exceeded our expectations.

At the aparthotel, units are fitted with bed linen and towels. The host couple are very nice and warming, even the area seems small but the facilities are all well. They provide cups, plates, pots... inside the kitchen cabinet. Microwave, mini fridge are provided. There's a washing machine outside of our room and we can simply wash our dirty clothes!!! The traditional tatami is great too!!!

Even though it was on a busy corner, the room was very quiet and soundproofed. One of the best hotels we have stayed at during our trip in Japan!

Patina Osaka offers 5-star accommodation with a hot tub. It’s not a stay but rather an experience! I love the patina experience, i tried it in the Maldives and now in Osaka Japan!!

Some units in the ryokan have private entrance and are equipped with wardrobe and tatami. Units are complete with a private bathroom, while certain units at the ryokan also provide guests with a seating area. The hotel is so beautiful and peaceful you almost don't want to leave. The staff were very welcoming and made us feel at home. We had the shabu shabu dinner and 2 Japanese style breakfasts which were cooked right in front of us by the lovely staff who we really enjoyed talking to. The location was only a 10 minute walk from Kyoto station but in a relatively quiet location, which was very much appreciated after the busy tourist spots of Kyoto. I couldn't recommend this hotel enough and we will definitely be returning if we are ever in Kyoto again.
