The soundproofed rooms and suites at Petra Moon come equipped with satellite channels, a DVD player and extra-long beds. Each has air conditioning and a private bathroom. This hotel is a must. Location is perfect if you want to go and see Petra! On arrival after a 6hr drive, reception greeted us and checked us in extremely efficiently. The room was perfect, views were amazing. Everything in the room was complimentary from bath salts, to face mask, water, fruit, crisps, chcolate and nuts. Everythig you need to do Petra. This hotel definitely gets my vote. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful and on our day of checking out of 4 rooms, they offered us to keep one room free of charge so we could shower after walking 20km before moving on at 15:00. There is a private entrance at the aparthotel for the convenience of those who stay. Guests can use the hot tub, or enjoy city views. Location was great, close to the centre but far enough not to be bothered by the noise. The accommodation was squeaky clean with a huge and comfortable bed. The biggest pro by far was the host: Otaiba is such a kind and welcoming host, his directions and advice were priceless.

At The Rock Camp Petra guests are welcome to take advantage of a hot tub. Rock Camp has an amazing location, very clean tents and bathrooms, and incredible staff! I have stayed in both the deluxe bubble tents and the standard square tents. These smaller tents are still fantastic with plenty of room and clean bathrooms. They also have a more traditional bedouin look on the inside. Breakfast was solid, and of course there are the pool and jacuzzi. Which are perfect after a day of exploring Petra. Also fantastic rocks to scramble on to see the sunset and even a spectacular little Wadi and some Nabatean hand carved water channels to see behind the camp.

Breakfast was a standout experience, offering a wide variety of dishes, more than we could possibly finish. They even accommodated our dietary restrictions seamlessly, ensuring we had everything we needed. Hazem at the front desk, was outstanding, providing his WhatsApp number for any assistance while we were in town. He truly went the extra mile by checking on us that evening and following up with us after we left to ensure we arrived safely at our next destination. His kindness and excellent service made us feel truly welcome and at home. A special mention also goes to Vida at the restaurant. She was so sweet and provided excellent service. Highly recommend this hotel for its warm hospitality and personalized service!
