We had a rental car but it was no problem . The parking garage outside of pedestrian zone was about 10 min walk . We had Room 1 with a huge jacuzzi tub which we used both nights after many steps all around the area. Great restaurants either down the stairs or up ! Whatever your body can go for after your day making Matera memories! This place is a 12/10 . Loved it 😍

From the moment we registered online, he sent notes on Whatsapp to me telling us where to park, how to take the bus, directions to walk with pictures and instructions. All was very helpful. He got us dinner reservations at Pico and it was marvelous. I left my hat at Pico, and he arranged to get it with the owner of Pico…a great effort!!! Thank you Giuseppe for a great stay!

The reception and all rooms have been luxuriously and tastefully decorated by our super nice and attentive hosts, Anna and Mirella. The super king size bed in our room was so comfy, perfect pillows and a very nice shower/bathroom. Breakfast was very good and varied. Location was perfect!
