Located at the foot of Mount Taygetos and at the heart of the Messinian Gulf, Akti Taygetos - Conference Resort is a few metres of the beach and features a large swimming pool with hot tub, and a private beach area. The property includes 3 bars, one of which is beachfront, and 2 restaurants and offers free WiFi access throughout. The centre of Kalamata is 6 km away. So, the hotel was really great, and we even got a free upgrade. Everything was brand new, very modern, and the room had a beautiful view of the sea. The room itself was really comfortable, with a huge window, and the service was especially attentive. We really liked it because even the TV channels were available in German, and we were welcomed with a small bottle of wine and two bottles of water, plus all the toiletries. There was also a beach bag, and I especially want to mention that the breakfast was wonderful, with lots of delicious Greek specialties and a wide variety of options for every taste. The spa was also fantastic; I treated myself to a massage, and the quality was very professional and excellent. The beach that belonged to the hotel was also lovely, with a great view, and overall, I can only recommend it.

The staff were very attentive and friendly. We travelled as group with several dietary needs, all of which were catered for. Giorgios and Vasillis were exceptional as managers and made sure we had the best time. The swimming pool and spa were brilliant as was the buffet restaurant with lots of different options.

A recently renovated property, Evripidou 7 - Kalamata Mediterranean Suites is set in Kalamata near Kalamata Beach, Municipal Railway Park of Kalamata and Pantazopoulio Cultural Center. The property features mountain and city views, and is 1.2 km from Public Library -Gallery of Kalamata. The accommodation offers a hot tub, free WiFi throughout the property and family rooms. This was the second time booking at this property! Everything was amazing during our first stay and we decided to visit again. The rooms are spacious and amazing, clean and comfortable with new equipment! Most importantly, not to forget the people working at this property - all are so helpful!!
