Facing the beachfront, Hyperion City Hotel & Spa offers 4-star accommodation in Chania Town and has an outdoor swimming pool, fitness centre and shared lounge. Boasting a bar, the hotel is close to several noted attractions, around 300 metres from Koum Kapi Beach, less than 1 km from Saint Anargyri Church and a 16-minute walk from Archaeological Museum of Chania. The accommodation features a 24-hour front desk, airport transfers, room service and free WiFi. We stayed in this hotel with my wife and our one-year-old for 3 nights. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They would always greet us with a smile and ask if everything was ok. They even offered us vouchers for free drinks at the hotel's bar during check-in. The bedroom was very spacious, modern and clean. The cleaners even folded our clothes. We had asked for a baby cot, and even with that, we had plenty of space in the room. The mini bar in the room was free, and there were water bottles, soft drinks, a small wine, and coffee and tea. We didn't get a chance to dive into the pool, but we did relax for a while at the pool's sunbeds, which were very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious with plenty of options, and every day, they even had a new addition. It was a 10-minute walk from the old city center so we didn't even have to move our car. There is private parking in the basement of the hotel, but the spots are limited, and you have to book in advance. We were not aware, but there were plenty of free parking spots on the streets around the hotel.

With a garden, the 5-star hotel has air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi, each with a private bathroom. The hotel features an indoor pool, spa centre and a 24-hour front desk. I loved everything about this hotel. At first sight - we just thought that everything was beautiful and clean. But then we realized that this hotel really cares about their guests and the service is really out of this world. Chris, that was in the reception majority of the time that we stayed there, always aimed for us to have the best time even though it rained while we stayed in the hotel for a majority of our visit. She and her colleagues always greeted us with smiles, giving us tips about where to go and how to get to those places. I know that it doesn’t sound like it’s anything more than ”regular” service, but when you meet people that treat you so good as they treated us in a 5-star hotel (and mind you - that doesn’t happen often since we mainly stay at 5-star hotels) then you appreciate the whole trip in a complete other way. Also, me and my boyfriend have worked within hospitality and service during the majority of our careers and we know that good service takes energy and commitment. If the manager of this hotel sees this review - please tell everybody on your team how great they are! Because we will be back in the fall again (booked another visit day 2 of our stay). And (!) not to forget to mention the spa. I got a treatment from Maria Hanaroli down at the spa and it was amazing! If you stay at the hotel make sure to get a treatment with her to make your trip even more luxurious.

All the accommodation types are renovated. Air conditioning comes as a standard. Absolutely everything! The room was incredible, the people so friendly and welcoming and the food was really excellent.

The Health Club on the 4th floor, exclusively reserved for hotel guests, is equipped with a variety of fitness equipment as well as a steam bath, a hot tub, a massage table and a sauna with colour and music therapy. The sun beds and umbrellas by the pool area on the roof are perfect for relaxing after a busy day. Location was perfect and easy walk around the old town. The staff were awesome and very focused on ensuring we had a great stay. They had excellent recommendations for local restaurants.

In a prime location in the Old Town Rethymno district, this aparthotel features a garden, as well as a hot tub. Featuring family rooms, this property also provides guests with a sun terrace. Fabulous apartment with a perfect location on the edge of Old Town. Lots of lovely bars , restaurants, shops and cafes very near by but the apartment is very quiet. Lovely comfy bed with air conditioning. Small kitchen area with a fridge, hob, dishwasher , toaster, kettle and everything you need to prepare a light lunch or breakfast. Small balcony overlooking the outdoor plunge pool/jacuzzi. Good wifi signal. The hosts are extremely friendly and change the bedding and clean the rooms regularly. Decent sized modern bathroom and shower.

The hotel has a hot tub, year-round outdoor pool and terrace, and guests can dine in the restaurant. We fell in love with this hotel. The staff was kind and very helpful, the rooms were incredible, the breakfast was delicious and had many options. The location is great, very close to everything and still quiet. We would highly recommend Mansio to all of our friends and hope to be able to come back.

The apartment was clean and the entire building was exceptionally well-maintained and cared for. The location is perfect, if you have the car you will get to the beach in literally less than 5 minutes and only 20 minutes from Heraklion. It has all the facilities in the nearby. The owner welcomed us with genuine warmth and joy, and was incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay. His hospitality made us feel comfortable and well taken care of. I would warmly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful, well-located place to stay in Crete.
