I had a great experience staying in Heraklion. The room was clean and comfortable, but what really stood out was the amazing service. The staff were incredibly helpful and kind, always available to assist with anything I needed. They helped me arrange taxis when I needed them and gave great local recommendations for places to eat nearby – all of which were spot on! It made my stay much smoother and more enjoyable. I loved everything about this hotel. At first sight - we just thought that everything was beautiful and clean. But then we realized that this hotel really cares about their guests and the service is really out of this world. Chris, that was in the reception majority of the time that we stayed there, always aimed for us to have the best time even though it rained while we stayed in the hotel for a majority of our visit. She and her colleagues always greeted us with smiles, giving us tips about where to go and how to get to those places. I know that it doesn’t sound like it’s anything more than ”regular” service, but when you meet people that treat you so good as they treated us in a 5-star hotel (and mind you - that doesn’t happen often since we mainly stay at 5-star hotels) then you appreciate the whole trip in a complete other way. Also, me and my boyfriend have worked within hospitality and service during the majority of our careers and we know that good service takes energy and commitment. If the manager of this hotel sees this review - please tell everybody on your team how great they are! Because we will be back in the fall again (booked another visit day 2 of our stay). And (!) not to forget to mention the spa. I got a treatment from Maria Hanaroli down at the spa and it was amazing! If you stay at the hotel make sure to get a treatment with her to make your trip even more luxurious.

If you’re in Crete this is your most definite stop We absolutely loved everything about Creta Maris , specially that in the middle of August Chaos they’ve got so many pools all around te property that you can always find a quiet one just to chill , special thanks to two Dimitri’s at the reception who went above and beyond to find our family a connecting room and with our other never ending requests and kids club activities were outstanding even for our 11 years old there was always something to do in the mini club, food all over the a la cart restaurants are amazing specially Mademi and gosh the view ! Staff are extremely professional and helpful we are definitely coming back next summer !
