Located in Kalavasos, 21 km from Amathus, Stratos ArtDeco House features views of the garden. All in all, a perfect stay which I will certainly be repeating as soon as I can. The house is full of character, with a beautiful internal yard and a huge bougainvillea providing deep shade and colour. The room was excellent in all aspects, decor, comfort, amenities. The location is also perfect, bang in the middle of the island of Cyprus, both beaches and mountains are close. The village has maintained its character and is SO quiet! But the best part of it all are the amazing hosts. When I arrived Giorgos just gave me the key to their suite despite my booking being for a simple double bed - it wasn't booked, so why not?, as he put it. Then, there was the fridge, with watermelon, wine, beer, cold water and chocolate treats by. And, as if these weren't already enough, Giorgos and his wife just moved their breakfast serving time an hour earlier to accommodate for my early start schedule! Value for money is a severe understatement for what these great guys have on offer here! Keep it up, guys, and thanks for your amazing hospitality!
