They help shuttle you into town (within reasonable distance), and are very helpful and forthcoming with information about ZJJ (Zhangjiajie) and the attractions nearby. Looking to come visit the esteemed Avatar mountain? Wanting to explore the Canyon of Zhangjiajie? This is a lovely home just outside of the main city of Yongding. I was even able to tour the parks ony own with the information and maps the host provided. He respectfully helped purchase and guide my itinerary as a local who knew how far away the sites were, time it takes to get there, and how much time to spend in the parks themselves. This stay is PERFECT for relaxing, enjoying peace, eating a tasty Hunan breakfast spread, and branching out. If you are looking for a stay around the area, the host and his family are genuine and truly know hospitality. Highly recommend.

He went above and beyond to help organize all our excursions, acting as a knowledgeable local guide. He was always quick to respond to any request, picked us up from the airport and took us back, shared fascinating insights about China, and gave us valuable tips. Every morning, he personally prepared breakfast, making our stay even more special. I highly, highly recommend this place—it's an absolute gem in a wonderful city!

The hosts went above and beyond: they prepared herbal foot baths after long hiking days, customized a vegetarian breakfast with local wild vegetable dumplings, and even arranged a private bilingual guide who revealed hidden viewpoints ahead of tourist crowds. The room seamlessly blended traditional Tusheng architecture with modern comforts (think heated floors and rainfall showers). What truly stood out was the proactive service—they contacted us pre-arrival to coordinate luggage storage and secured park tickets during peak season.
