Rogers Arena is 10 minutes’ walk from this Vancouver hotel. I booked a room but was upgraded to a suite and after 4 nights on the train from Toronto it was a wonderful surprise. The bed was comfy and the room peaceful and I had a good night's sleep. Everyone was very helpful and informative. The facilities were excellent It was possible to walk to the Waterfront and central for sightseeing and only a short taxi from the station. I ate lunch and the food and service were very good. My burger was cooked medium rare just as I like it. I didn't have breakfast as I was leaving early for the train. I would definitely go back when next in Vancouver with or without an upgrade. I was disappointed I didn't have time to check out the pool and sauna.

At the homestay, each unit is fitted with a desk. There is a private bathroom with hot tub in some units, along with slippers, a hair dryer and free toiletries. At the homestay, every unit is fitted with bed linen and towels. This may be the cleanest place I've ever stayed. The hosts were very accomodating, helpful, and friendly, and the cats were very sweet. All the nice little touches to make us feel welcome, and beautiful art. I will certainly stay here again! I want to emphasize, it was truly exceptionally clean.
