Extremely comfortable bed with essential electric blanket with the rather low outside temperature. Being able to spend the evening by the log burner in the very well-appointed Barn was a real bonus. Definitely a style of accommodation worth trying and this is probably the place to do it.

This historic property was built in 1906 and has been refurbished to highlight the original fireplaces and stained glass windows. very comfortable and quite. Very quite in a nice neighborhood and great views. it is a short walk to the historic shops, restaurants and historic docks area. the owner and his staff were extremely friendly. we arrived early and he, and his staff, were really flexible in making sure we were settled and ready to enjoy Hobart. We loved the complimentary kitchen larder for a quick morning bite and the evening port in the parlor.

Pelican Sands Scamander is located on the waterfront where the Scamander River meets the oceanfront on the mid north-east coast of Tasmania. The location is next to the beach, open the door to the deck & its there, sat in the morning sun for a coffee, beautiful! Kayaks were available free. The bed was very, very comfy. The room was large & loverly. Walking distance to some eateries.

Immaculately clean, beautiful views, spacious. Filled with everything you could think/need. Host was excellent. Breakfast was plentiful. It was our favourite accommodation to date!
