We especially enjoyed the spa, with the saunas area standing out as wonderfully tranquil and relaxing. The hotel’s location was perfect, just a short walk to the mountain lifts and very close to numerous hiking trails, which made exploring the outdoors effortless. Overall, it was an excellent stay combining comfort, relaxation, and easy access to nature.

We had a lovely room with a balcony towards the inner yard. The hotel was clean and beautifully old fashioned, breakfast was good, the staff was great and very helpful. The sauna was very good for a hotel sauna! The pool area was lovely, especially the small hot pool with views to mountains. It was excellent that there was an opportunity to use that area also on the day we left, this allowed us to have one more hiking day and after that a moment to relax in sauna and take a shower before catching the evening train. The location was great for us, as it's close to the train station, bus stop, spa and a couple of restaurants that were open until late even in summer.

From the nearby bus stop you can reach Gastein’s world-famous radon galleries in only 2 minutes. We liked everything. We have been here last year and came back this year as well. The rooms are really good with great beds and matresses, you sleep really well. We choose the halfboard and the food is simply amazing both in the morning, as you have a variety of options to choose from, and in the afternoon (where you receive an aperitif, a soup, main course and desert). For the main course you can choose from 3 options: meat, fish or vegetarian. A bonus is the welness area which is very cozy and intimate.
