Reserving a room at Madinat Al Bahr was a smooth process. I proceeded to make a call to enquire about checking in early. A gentleman by the name Sebastian organized to have me picked up from the airport and allowed me to check in early which allowed me to have a much-needed rest after two days of travelling. At the reception I was greeted with warm smiles and the lady at the reception (Happy) checked me in without delays. Issa helped me to my room and showed me the executive room I had booked. The room surpassed all my expectations. It was roomy, light and very clean. The icing on the cake was the direct view of the hotels garden and the blue ocean from my room’s balcony. All the amenities that one might need on a trip away from home are included in the room. My first night at the hotel was very pleasant. I had the delight of meeting Sayed Aly on my way to breakfast the next day - a very charming, chatty gentleman who speaks. I enjoyed chatting with Aly during the meals - we both had a chance to practise the international languages we spoke (German, Russian and a little bit of Italian). I got the impression that Aly takes his time to learn the guests and preferences which really makes a stay at Madinat Al Bahr feel like a second home. The food was another highlight. A wide variety of local and international delicacies. The buffets were amazing. I was more interested in local delicacies which the hotel had enough of. The fruit variety felt like a special treat too. The pool is very clean and big enough. There are nough sun beds around the pool - one needs not worry about finding a spot to chill by the pool. The pool looks even prettier at night! The beach just infront of the hotel was nice too. I had a chance to chit chat with the locals and take some “diving lessons” from the kids swimming around. My stay lacked for nothing. Madinat Al Bahr is truly a gem on this beautiful island.

Everything and everyone was very kind and warm

Stayed at this hotel near the airport and had a great experience. The place was spotless, and the staff provided excellent service throughout my stay. They also offer a shuttle service (for an additional fee), which was very convenient for getting to and from the airport. Overall, I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a clean, well-serviced hotel with good amenities and a great location.

Rooms are clean and spacious, the staff is kind and helpful, beautiful garden very calm.

We had the pleasure of staying here for New Years celebrations. Staff were friendly and helpful particularly Urah. We really enjoyed our stay. We look forward to coming back

Perfect 2 bedroom apartment for a family of 4 even up to 5. Apartment offers a range of activities very clean throughout, loved the fact that there is a little balcony outside for bbq and the terrace upstairs. If you fancy cooking there is all the cooking equipment. Peaceful areaI loved the fact that the location was veey convinient specially for a family has nearby little park to play for kids, 8 min walk to the local pool which is free to use for you and the family, just by the pool there is a resturant and bar which parents can sit and have a drink there is also a nearby resturant if you fancy eating out or a local supermarket that has all the essentials. The host is very welcoming, charming and friendly. loved every part of my stay with the kids.

The pool was excellent, the studio room was very clean. The staff were very helpful and the place was secure.

Skyport Villa is an absolutely amazing place to stay! The house is spotlessly clean, tidy, and incredibly comfortable. Free coffee and tea are included, which is such a thoughtful touch. It has everything you need to feel at home and truly relax. The location is perfect—ideal for trips to Stone Town and extremely convenient for airport transfers. I absolutely loved my stay here and will definitely visit again. Highly recommend!❤️✨
