If you’re looking to sit back relax and honestly not leave the resort, this is it!! I genuinely stayed in for most of the nights with no complaints. Amazing breakfast , great hospitality, 5 star rooms from the standard to the lagoon villa. The hotel is divided into 2 sections the lagoon side and the beach side. Best part of it , is that they provide you a buggy through an underground tunnel to the other side which is the beach or you could walk. Pine beach bar for great sunsets, beach views , quick dip in the beach or a walk by. Let me add once ur here forget about Patong beach!! 2 michelin star restaurants in the resort , afternoon tea from 2-4pm and happy hour! I booked the lagoon villa and it’s honestly one of the best rooms I’ve ever stayed in!! Forget about private pools! U have a private area covered with beautiful greenery , private jacuzzi and a full on lagoon with water features! The room comes with a butler to help you with all your needs. Reservations, bookings, services etc!! Until ur last day! Our butler “honey” did an amazing job with every request/ question i had. She made the stay easy, memorable and smooth. Thank you for an outstanding customer service.

The hotel is amazing as well as the staff. It’s located on the top of a hill so it wasn’t too hot by the pool, as there was always a breeze. The food was great, both in the buffet and in the Poolside restaurant (they have a western and asian menu). The room itslef was awsome, spacious and very comfortable. The view and jacuzzi were unforgettable.

Layalina Hotel has the best location you can imagine, just steps from the beach and from a walking path that takes you past tons of beachfront restaurants and places to have a drink. It is worth every penny to stay here since, besides the perfect location, the hotel is an intimate size, the staff are highly professional and welcoming, the rooms are very large and comfortable, and nothing beats swinging in your own hammock on your patio before taking a bath in your enormous, luxurious jacuzzi bathtub! I was in room 106 downstairs, which was perfect, with a private patio. Three of the downstairs rooms have patios in the public area by the swimming pool (which could get hectic when families are enjoying it), and three are more private like mine. I could see beachgoers walking by my patio, but their view was obscured by greenery, and no one ever looked in my direction. I was right next to the canal, and whatever foul smell people mentioned in the past has been taken care of. All I ever smelled was the sweet scent of the sea.

The property comprises of 3 separate villas, each of which was enormous, with huge beds and family bathrooms. It felt incredibly private and enclosed despite being close to a road. We loved the dining area and separate social area too, as well as the pool. It’s clear that the owner takes a lot of pride in the property and consequently, it is really so much more beautiful than we expected! Mama resides at the property and is up early every day to clean the outdoor areas and prepare breakfast. She also offered to wash clothes for us and even ironed a friend’s dress before dinner!

    We spent 3 nights in the honeymoon suite and thoroughly enjoyed relaxing in the private tub / whirlpool situated on our balcony, with a stunning view across Kamala beach. The room was very clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and highly responsive. The area is nice and secluded - great for relaxing away from the business of Patong. The main pool was quiet and there was plenty of space to secure a sun bed that overlooks the ocean.

    Position of property was great, room was good size .Balcony had two sun beds on and a table two chairs and great to watch the sunset and to have breakfast delivered to your room . Jacuzzi bath was delightful Pool clean with jacuzzi seating at one end Staff friendly and cleaner was very sweet Close to everything , not a commercialised property

    Although the room was at the ground floor and with direct access to the back street and pool we felt it comfortable. Nice housekeeping every day and the jacuzzi bath is a great plus. Really spacious room and great bed. Friendly staff and amazing breakfast service served in the balcony.

    The room was very well equipped and spacious. Loved the jacuzzi bath and roof terrace. An amazing view from our balcony of the beach. The hotel is right on the beach. There is no restaurant at the hotel, but breakfast is offered. However there are lots of good restaurants and bars on the doorstep. The pool area is kept clean and although small it is a welcome area to swim.
