You need to book a restaurant in advance, because when you arrive, everything is already full. There are a lot of people at the hotel because it's a wonderful hotel. Everything is great.

It says on the website that setting up Soeder's was a very personal project for the owners Marianne and Michael and you can feel this in every little detail. Superb dinner in a stunning locality with great hosts. Obviously not on the cheap side, but worth every single øre - we hope to be back, soon!

we had a warm welcome and got a nice room, nicely furnished and with nice colours. the hotel is decorated with taste. the staff is very friendly and helpful. the breakfast was good and diversified, very well presented.

Hovs Hallar is utterly idyllic. The location is beautiful, the rooms are fairly spacious and with good views, and the restaurant is lovely. We stayed in the middle of June and were treated to the most beautiful sunset, seen from the terrace of our room. Apart from the hotel and restaurant being good, what makes this place is the setting. There are very pleasant coastal path walks and one lovely walk (more of a scramble down a long flight of rocky steps) down to the rocky beach. The parking is public, but it is free and directly in front of the hotel, making it convenient and safe.

Situated in a building dating back to 1903 in a tranquil yet central area of Halmstad, this hotel offers free WiFi and rooms with classic-style décor. Halmstad Central Station is 200 metres away.

Excellent location within walking distance of railway station and a good point for me to start my walking expedition. Close to the centre of the town with plenty of places to eat. Supermarket under half a mile away. Nice paths along the riverside immediately adjacent to hotel. An excellent breakfast with wide choice of different foods served early if needed - from 6am on weekdays and 7am at weekends.
