The host was incredibly warm, kind, and welcoming. The atmosphere was excellent, everything was very clean and well-organized. Parking was right next to the entrance, so even when it rained we hardly got wet. The proximity to the Transfăgărășan road was also a big advantage

Outstanding accommodation, everything was as described, great mountains view, clean, fresh air, intimate, perfect for a couple. The host was exceptional, we got super lucky and even got a fresh baked “cozonac” 😅. Definitely my favorite accommodation from the area.

We loved the house and wonderful back yard, the river and all the facilities. We had a wonderful stay and would love to come back. This is a great place fir starting the transfagarasan and for hiking in the area.

We stayed at these apartments after a trip to the Transfăgărășan. It’s a nice, spacious hotel with parking. A big plus was the indoor swimming pool and warm jacuzzi. Upon check-in, we were immediately given separate towels for the pool. The room was clean, with two huge beds, a small sofa, and a balcony. The staff was very friendly — the ladies explained everything to us and even helped with translating the menu. Behind the hotel, there’s a mountain river and benches where you can take photos. In good weather, you can sunbathe outside on the loungers. There was no printed menu, but the waiters explained what was available and suggested different meal options. Overall, both dinner and breakfast were great — large portions and good prices.

The family that runs this pension is the best. They really care about their guests, and do everything in their power to make their stay a good one. They even accommodated my vegetarian diet. The restaurant seems very good, and the beer options are great as well. The location couldn't be better, in the middle of the forest but still directly on the Transfagarasan. Perfect for access to Lake Balea and the Fagaras mountains. The outside really seems well thought through, with a zipline over the river and many seating options and even a whirlpool.

    Very beautiful surroundings, aside the river, located at the beginning of Transfăgărășan road, so very comfortable to stay there after the trip. We were not interested in SPA services, but I know the place has jacuzzi and sauna with reservation. Good breakfast. Parking. The staff is always there.

    Very very nice hosts, the yard was big and full of toys for the delight of our son. Big beds, comfortable, kitchen equipped with everything. Nice relaxing spaces.
