This was a last minute booking as the hotel we had booked was terrible. The staff where fanatic, it was my wife's birthday and I happened to mention this in passing the staff brought us a bottle of wine the evening we checked in with a little birthday note. Then the following day they brought us a brownie with a candle and sang happy birthday!!!! This really made our day the staff went above and beyond. The hotel was very nice rooms where very nice and clean.

A truly excellent motel - absolute cleanliness and comfort, with incredibly attentive hosts. The breakfast was simply outstanding, and the whole place had such a warm, homey feel. After staying somewhere like this, it’s hard to go back to soulless hotels – so consider yourself warned! :) We absolutely loved our stay. I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The bed was incredibly soft, and the breakfast was delicious. The staff were very friendly and engaging, making for some enjoyable conversations. The bathtub was spacious, and the room was warm and cozy. Additionally, the view from the room was breathtaking. I highly recommend this hotel!

We had a wonderful two-night stay here and were impressed by how convenient and welcoming everything was. The location is fantastic—right in the heart of Rotorua, close to shops, attractions, and dining, yet quiet and peaceful at night. The room was spotless, spacious, and had all the essentials we needed, including a well-equipped kitchenette which made it easy to prepare small meals or enjoy a hot drink. A thoughtful touch was receiving a bottle of milk at check-in for a cuppa after a long drive. The staff were genuinely friendly and helpful, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. Parking was easy, and check-in was smooth and efficient. This is a great base for exploring Rotorua and relaxing in between adventures. We would definitely stay here again if we're back in Rotorua in the future.

Our stay in Rotorua was simply fantastic. Our family immediately felt at home. It's a really great house. The kitchen is superbly equipped. My husband even baked bread. We had breakfast at the large dining table and celebrated Christmas. Everything was clean. There were fresh clean towels for everyone and the beds were very comfortable. The small garden around the house is simply marvellous. You can spend cosy hours on the sun lounger. My husband really enjoyed the whirlpool. As you have to do laundry on a long journey, I was very happy to be able to use a washing machine. There were plenty of places to hang up the washing. We really enjoyed our stay and would book the house again at any time. The contact with the landlord was also great. We forgot our binoculars and were informed immediately. Many thanks for this great house, the beautiful garden and the hospitality. We also wrote a few lines in the guest book.
