Exceptional place and great value for money. Key highlights include: - Indika, our host, who has been incredible throughout the trip. This included maintaining the rooms throughout our stay as well as organising cars for us around the country and organising our safari day in Yala. Indika is an exceptional host and did an excellent job on our holiday. - the place is perfectly located, a short walk from the city centre. Room is spacious and Indika makes sure it is clean at all times. Bathroom is lovely. We had the Sri Lankan breakfast every day which was yummy and filling - being so close to the city centre meant it was very easy to organise activities and head out around ella in the day

Super nice employees, extremely helpful super friendly. check out the tree house room it's a great experience it's really right in the jungle. You can see a lot of animals. Thank you for birthday cake, next time we will stay longer :)

We truly enjoyed our stay at Tranquility Ella. The place exceeded our expectations. The facilities were excellent, the food was delicious and the staff were extremely friendly. All of this came at a very reasonable price. The view from our room was very beautiful and we only wish we could have stayed longer.

This place is a dream, it felt so calm and serene, incredible view and totally private, with great WiFi and a lovely host who could bring food and drink when needed. It’s a little further out and involved a scooter or grab to get there but it’s worth it for the setting.

What a beautiful hotel in the mountains of Ella! The pool is the highlight of the whole place and its quiet and clean. If you want to relax a few days, this is the place to be. You can’t walk to Ella town, but with a TukTuk its around 3000 LKR (more or less 8-9€) They have a good restaurant and its not expensive as others say here. The prices are the same in Ella town if you eat western food. The breakfast was pricy but very good. The employees were all nice and helpfull from the recption to the restaurant! Thank you for a great holiday

Wonderful view from the hotel and from our room. Excellent location, modern and clean facilities, quality breakfast and really friendly staff. My husband had his birthday during our stay and they helped me to surprise him.

So much to like, staff, location, views, great comfy room..wish I stayed longer. The only slight thing I thought the breakfast could have been slightly better and breakfast area a little cleaner. But minor things for a great place. Highly recommend!!!

Excellent secluded property, it’s 20 minutes from the city Center. The location, setting and everything is excellent. Truly in nature. The roads in are bumpy but it is what makes it awesome about the whole experience. The pool at the top of the property is just something truly amazing. Sunset view is beyond explanation. Owner and staff are very nice. If you love nature, you would love this place. The wind the weather, calmness. Above all the price is just right as well, great value.
