This was the second ryokan we stayed at in Kinosaki and so far it was the best place we stayed in 10 days of exploring Japan. The check in time was set at 3pm but we arrived early, around 10 am. They granted us access to the room which was very large and comfy. The futon were really comfortable. The location is perfect. They have private onsen that you can access from 3pm to 11pm. But the most important thing is the staff. The owner was so nice. She had a translating device and took a lit of time to explain us many things, guide us through the city helped us find a restaurant, lent us some japanese umbrella and took some typical japanese pictures of us for free and on the day of our departure where it was heavily raining gave us a ride to the station. We leave this place relaxed and fueled with energy thanks to them.

If you want to know and feel the Japanese culture, the taste of real Japanese food and service this is the place to stay. We felt the respect and tradition of our host. The rooms were impeccable, clean and spacious. We were very much impressed with the attention we were given... We ate at the place and the service and preparation of food were traditional in ingredients and making... We loved it!

The staff was amazing! Extremely nice people, they even bring me food on a rainy day. Took me back to the train station by car, Some of the nicest people i have met here in Japan! The facility is amazing, very clean and a breeze to spend time in! Surrounded by the forest and rice field, a beautiful place to take some time off the city! The beds are comfy and the food was really good :) They left me handwritten notes in french to welcome me and guide me through my stay, definitely one of the nicest stay I've had here! The Owner is extremely friendly and will help you with any trouble. When I arrived i actually got lost in the forest because I had the wrong address, I called them and they immediately helped me find my way to the house, There are guitars, piano, speaker, and anything you'd need to have a good time and stay comfy! There is even a bike you can borrow to go around! Thank you so much for having me there, I would love to come back anytime I can <3 If you are hesitant about coming here, dont think twice, its a no brainer :)

Traditional Japanese room, which means everything is floor level and the pillows are made of buckwheat kernels. The room was spacious, comfortable but not luxurious. The bath was very nice, so was the pond and garden, and the dinner I reserved was excellent. A shuttle bus operates from 4pm to the onsen in town but it’s a short walk. It’s quite a large hotel.
