Really nice and friendly staff. Nice and clean rooms. Generous breakfasts and dinners with daily changing menues - the wagyu meat was especially good! Private spa with finnish sauna, steam bath, onsen water, cold bath, outside area and even a massage seat and included drinks was bookable for a small fee. Free coffee and tea available in the lounge (tea also in the room). Convenient shuttle service to the train station.

Everything was perfect! The staff was incredibly kind, came to pick me up at the station and then offered to take me to the monkey park. The hotel was nice, clean and the indoors and outdoors baths were great. A very calm place. I totally would recommend!!

Warm welcome from our hosts, nothing was too much trouble. Great location within walking distance to snow monkey park and local town. Well appointed and spacious villa. Excellent breakfast and dinner, the latter was in the form of a tasting menu so had the opportunity to explore Japanese cuisine that we wouldn't normally opt for. On our second night we had the place to ourselves so it felt very special.

The property is a short walk to/from Yudanaka station. The staff are quite friendly. They drove me to the Snow Monkey Park before my check-in time. By the time I checked in, my luggage is already inside my room. The onsen/ofuro is a nice welcome after being out and about in the bitter Winter cold.
