0Despite not being fluent in English, all staff (the one family working well together) were welcoming, polite and helpful and were able to develop a more personal connection with guests. Enjoyed the short tour of the village by car at 3.30pm (if you check in and book by 3.15pm) dropping us drop off at the observatory so we could walk back down the hill. Great dinner and breakfast with interesting local dishes and use of local ingredients. Pleasant and interesting music with meals. Wonderful river view and interesting design of room. Lovely wooden onsen overlooking the river. Close to bus and the whole villiage. Everythibg very clean. Spring water onsen and to drink. Was worth the price.

Best hospitality family run traditional inn, they were warm and welcoming. The facilities were very clean. Like the beautiful flower arrangement. Room was very spacious and with beautiful view. The private bath onsite was great. Dinner and breakfast were excellent, served with locally sourced produce, deer hunt by the brother, all dishes were unique. A memorable stay for us and highly recommended.
