Beautiful private house in a charming small town. The owner, like the rest of the locals, were overwhelmingly kind. Kanoko also left us some deer jerky from their hunting, which was absolutely delicious.

Hostel Yui-an was the most special accommodation in our entire trip to the Japanese Alps. The house is simply amazing, the surroundings are peaceful and the girls who run the place are nice, friendly, helpful and speak excellent English. I would totally recommend it!

They style and quality of the accommodation, plus the location in Nagiso, giving easy access to the shops, restaurants and train station. Also very much liked the audio system, tv projector and access to Netflix and Amazon. Some very nice touches.

Staff were very attentive. I was really sick on the first day and the lady in the restaurant noticed that I could not eat much and came up to ask what happened. They cooked congee for me on the other day as breakfast that helped me a lot.I would highly recommend this hotel to others and definitely will come back again.

Very welcoming and very kind. The place is beautiful and nothing is missing in the accommodation, it has everything you need, even a sauna and an outdoor hot bath. The heating works well in the rooms so we weren’t cold. The surroundings are beautiful and peaceful. I definitely recommend it

It was an absolute pleasure staying at Yuki and Ken’s place. Everything was so well thought of and they were the kindest and most serviceminded people we’ve ever met. The home cooked and super fresh dinner was so yummy. The homemade plum wine is a must try so is the homemade jam for breakfast. Our room had the most amazing view over the mountain and the town and was newly renovated. Everything was made by Yuki San and Ken San themselves. And if they hadn’t made it the furnitures would have been on the family for long time. Did I mention the bed and duvet already - we had a perfect nights sleep.
