Very nice and traditional ryokan renovated 3 years ago with a lot of luxurious taste. The hallway to eat diner and breakfast is amazing dated from edo period. Rooms are modern and spacious. The chef was working in refined restaurant in Tokyo before and he is cooking an amazing food, the best I had during my trip in nagano. Staff was nice and friendly. I really recommend.

Extremely beautiful location and nature. Very friendly owners and staff. Ordered a tasty meal and some nice plum wine. Would like to come back again and do some more walking in the surrounding area.

We loved everything about this hotel. The owners - Ken and Yuki were lovely and really helpful. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The breakfast and dinner were delicious with lots of homemade produce. The place itself was beautifully renovated and in an amazing location for walking the Nakasendo trail.
