Picturesque location! Everything at the property including amenities were superb! The staff were welcoming and very friendly. The room was a good size, with decent working air conditioning (for Italy) with a lovely view from our balcony. The pool area was just gorgeous and felt very private anywhere you choose to sit - with great views of the surroundings. The spa was very relaxing, and you will need to purchase a cap from reception to wear while using. The property is a very short (10mins max) and enjoyable walk to the gorgeous town of San Quirico d’Orcia. We stayed here for one night before a wedding in Montalcino, and only wished we could have stayed longer! It’s a convenient location to visit other towns in the area, plenty of parking on site. The breakfast had a large selection!

The pool area was simply amazing. Nestled amidst the lush greenery, it provided a serene oasis for relaxation. The beauty and cleanliness of the hotel were also worth mentioning. Overall, my stay at Borgo Canallichio was nothing short of perfection. The staff's hospitality, the stunning pool area, and the pristine beauty and cleanliness of the hotel all contributed to an unforgettable experience. The hotel owners are also the owners of the winery located on the other side of the road, which produces one of the best Brunellos in the region, thus, a wine tour can be easily arranged.
