We loved learning about the history of this incredible home! The location can't be beat as it sits overlooking the historical town of Orvieto, only a short drive away. There is another beautiful, historical town that sits on a hilltop only accessible by foot bridge called Civita, another must-see. There is so much to see and do in the area, including cave tours. If you'd rather a quiet, peaceful place to enjoy the surroundings, this is the place for you! There is a beautiful pool and hot tub, a patio area as well as an outdoor sitting area for those warmer days. There is a lovely area inside to curl up and wat h TV or read if you wish, and the bedroom is gorgeous, filled with amazing history with original 18th-century charm still in place.

Absolutely everything. The location is very pretty and the house is very tastefully restored to the finest detail. The hosts are really nice and friendly and very helpful in advising everything we needed. They gave us a lot of nice visiting tips. The breakfast is very good and abundant. Shame we were there for only one night but we are intending of visiting again.

We stayed here just one night, but it was a truly lovely experience. The property is spacious and peaceful, with a large pool and beautiful surroundings — perfect for relaxing. It’s not far from Viterbo, so it was a great stop during our trip. The host was incredibly kind and helpful with everything we needed. In the morning, they surprised me for my birthday with a small celebration — even bringing out a cake with candles! It was such a thoughtful gesture and made the stay unforgettable. We really appreciated the warm atmosphere and the attention to detail. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a quiet escape with great hospitality.

Surrounded by greenery, Podere Sette Piagge is just outside the historic centre and offers a shuttle to Orvieto Train Station 1 km away. Its garden includes a pool, fruit trees and vegetable patch.

What a lovely little piece of paradise! A small, family run guest house, surrounded by a lush garden with flowers, fruit trees, fragrant herbs and home grown vegetables, as well as a nice swimming pool (which was already closed in October), an outdoor kitchen and dining area beneath a pergola laden with clusters of grapes. Our rooms were spacious, clean and very pleasant. We arrived around lunch time, and our cordial host (head of the family that also resides on the premises) was kind enough to improvise a delicious lunch of cold cuts, cheese, savory pastries filled with broccolini and sausage, a large salad from his garden and a bottle of local white wine, all for 14 euro per person. Breakfast in the bright dining room (it was a bit chilly to have it outside) was also very nice. We only stayed the one night, concluding a 10-day visit to Toscana and on our way to Fiumicino, but I can well imagine relaxing there for several days. Great value for money and lovely hospitality!
