The location and views from the property are totally awesome. both breakfast and supper was great. my wife went for the Ayuverdic massage. The lady Aarcha was great and really provided the most relaxing and rejuvenating massage.

I had a wonderful stay here--such a beautiful house, with an extraordinary view--but even still, the best part was Benny's family itself. Everyone takes part in taking care of guests, here and there, including the guesthouse's namesake, Sceva--a very smart, kind, and curious child! I'll always remember sitting by the pool and reading poems aloud with her. Benny is also just terrific--he called up tuktuks for me whenever I needed, ordered dinners for us (also delivered by tuktuk!) if we decided to eat in, and also arranged my nine-hour drive north to Wayanad. (The driver did a really great job, too--I felt safe and comfortable the whole time.) And of course, the breakfasts were delicious--fresh-cooked and straight from the kitchen! Highly recommended.

We absolutely loved staying at Chandys for our first visit to Munnar, it's a beautiful resort in a perfect location, grand and stylish however blended with absolute beauty of nature. We had amazing service the whole time from check-in till check-out and the staff here are so accommodating and lovely. Room was nice & neat, and the food was delicious. We were upgraded to the Royal Suite when we stayed here for 2 nights this Christmas, and couldn’t believe our luck! The view is absolutely incredible and the room features a hot tub, sauna and steam room! It was like staying in our own personal spa! The staff were lovely and very attentive. Since it was Christmas we were treated to carols, live music and fireworks, and the food was incredible for every meal. Highly recommended!

I liked many things about Ross Cottage. The location is outside of the busy area but close enough to walk/auto there easily. Munnar itself is a scenic 35min drive away. My room was spacious, comfortable and had all the basic things I needed. The hosts let me check in early and were helpful to arrange an auto driver for me. Mr Baby, the host, was really friendly and welcoming. He checked in on my several times (I was solo travelling) and brought me coffee as the rooms aren't equipped with kettle. The room has AC, hot water, and a safe. The only thing I would highlight is that the cottage is on the main/only road in and out of Munnar. Whilst it's not busy like other parts of India, there is some traffic noise in the early mornings which some people might find disturbing - just bring ear buds and you'll be fine.
