Once I figured out the geography of the airport and shuttle/bus transport, it was simple to get to the hotel. I had a free day to go into town and it was a quick walk past the car rental area to catch a tram right down to Princess Street. The hotel facility itself for super; great pool facility, spa access, very good menu at restaurant and comfortable amenities in the room. Shuttle service to airport was super too.

In the Portobello district of Edinburgh, close to Portobello Beach, The Porty Beach House features a garden and a washing machine.

The property was in a great location with access to the beach and easy access to public transport which took you into Edinburgh’s city centre. Steph and her family were attentive and responded to our questions/ needs throughout the stay. They really added to the experience of our trip.

Surprisingly great hotel close to the airport. The hotel is a nice with an old charm and a great spa with green surroundings. The restaurant is superb, for both dinner and breakfast.
