The building and grounds were fantastic, the rooms lovely. The surroundings had incredible views. Bath and shower facilities were great. Beds and bedclothes were very comfortable. And the location was very convenient for exploring the area. Our hosts were incredibly gracious as well.

We were kept up to date by the host regularly with all the information we required. The house was very clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. There were some lovely extras like coffee and toiletries which were much appreciated. The property was situated in a good place with a fish and chip shop opposite which was welcomed after a long journey. I would definitely recommend this property.

Brilliant location and beautifully kept, the owner clearly has a lot of time for the property. The views from the hot tub are stunning and the walks you can take yourself on are lovely.

On the banks of the River Mersey, the Waterside Hotel is just 10 minutes from Manchester airport. The hotel has a restaurant and leisure centre.

Staff were so lovely and helpful first off. I never leave reviews but I will for this hotel. The room was clean, and like some hotel rooms it didn’t feel ‘worn out’ or tired. I had a bath when I was anticipating a shower. The car park was massive! The spa was great too. Really good opening hours. I didn’t use the gym but I did use the pool. I realize now the hotel had a calm feeling to it, probably down to the fact that everything worked. In hotels where things aren’t planned out very well or things are broken, or unclean, it’s stressful and the staff are stressed out too. But not here.
