We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this lovely house which was a treasure trove of interesting art and artefacts. It has a lovely rose garden and outdoor seating area and the added delight of a swimming pool. However, the greatest treasures of this delightful hotel are the hosts and chef Christophe and Jean-Claude who were so welcoming and fun. We had dinner there on two nights and it was truly delicious and entertaining. The rooms are very well appointed with best quality linens and very comfortable beds.

Natalie was wonderful! Friendly, flexible and helpful - just great to be around. Both the dinner and breakfast were delicious. We had made a mistake with our previous place and had to find a room for one night, and this was the only one that showed up in Auvillar where we were staying. Large and well maintained grounds a short walk from the center (restaurants and groceries). In addition to being our only choice (we would have had to drive back to Bordeaux) what a find! It looks like we may be coming back in a year, and intend to stay here again. Couldn't recommend it more highly.
