Very peaceful, private and relaxing. I thought the fires might overlook each other but they were all cleverly screened with bamboo so we felt it was very private. The pool and jacuzzi made it feel very luxurious. The bed was very comfortable and the place was clean and well managed. Breakfast was fantastic and we wished we’d booked breakfast every day - it felt like an extra treat. The people running the place were lovely, very warm and friendly, and spoke excellent English. Although fairly remote, this made it more relaxing. It was just off the main road, which made it a good base for visiting local areas. I’m not adding photos because the photos on the website were very accurate.

This is a lovely place to stay, with stunning sea/estuary views from our bedroom and the dining room. The hostess was very welcoming and attentive and provided us with an excellent and super-healthy breakfast of fresh, home-made bread and local products. With my friend we were hit by quite a bad storm while on our cycling trip and La Colombe bleue was everything we could have wished for. The lady who owns the place gave us a warm welcome even when we were all wett and causing some mess with our wett baggage. The house was cosy, everything was clean, the beds were very comfortable with soft blankets and towels. Since we came late, the owner proposed us something to eat what was very sweet of her. The other day there was a super delicious breakfast with plenty of differents stuff. It is visible the owner loves what she is doing and she is giving her heart to it. Thanks again for this great experience ♥️
