An absolute highlight of our honeymoon! From the beginning, Monica’s service was phenomenal. She contacted us through WhatsApp to make sure we had a way to quickly communicate and ask any questions on our journey there. We were offered a welcome drink on arrival which was delicious. The view and property is breathtaking! The room was super spacious and so stunning. Luxurious and rustic at the same time! The bed was extremely comfortable and the vista from the bed is just gorgeous. To top it off, the dinner and breakfast we had was fabulous and they catered to my food allergies seamlessly. If we are back in Spain again, we will definitely be returning! Highly recommend

Friendly reception on arrival. Excellent communication by host. Modernised spacious interior to house. Large, comfortable room with kitchenette. Large comfortable common reception room. Small rural village-rustic stone houses and wooden barns. A number of beautiful villages down in the valley with a wide variety of walks and cycle routes.

Hotel Rural El Fundil features a garden, shared lounge, a terrace and bar in El Pino. 38 km from La Casa del Agua, the property features a ski pass sales point.

The rooms were clean and comfortable, and there is a well-equipped lounge and a bar next door. But it really is the sevice that was exceptional - upon arrival the owner informed us that there was a carnival happening directly across the street which would be quite loud, and offered to arrange accommodation in a different hotel nearby. Then he helped to contact booking com to modify the booking when we were unable to do so online.. Despite our very limited Spanish he was very patient and kind throughout our whole stay. I would highly recommend this hotel - we hope to return in the future to again enjoy the hospitality and the beauty of the surrounding area. Muchos gracias!

Terrific location - quiet with mountain views. Individual lodges, heated by woodburning stove. Outstanding fixed price evening meal - I had starter of leeks baked with cheese and ham in sauce. Much tastier than the one I had in the Parador at Mérida! Then beautiful baked bake plus pud, wine or beer and coffee for about 20 euros. Lots of parking, spacious public rooms and outdoor seating too - both at each lodge and by the restaurant.
