Breakfast and dinner was very nice

This fabulous B&B is situated in a wonderful peaceful location on the edge of town, close to the church, pickle-ball court and easy parking. Casa Limon hosts, Christa & Dominique, are delightful people - full of local information for hiking, sightseeing, restaurants and between them they create the most appetising and hearty breakfasts. They are a joy to spend time chatting to. Ours was a winter hiking trip. The weather was beautiful and we arrived back to Casa Limon to a roaring wood-stove, so cosy. And then there’s Lucky - what a lovable dog. Lucky is part dog, part B&B host, he welcomed us every morning and every evening when we arrive back. I miss Lucky already. We will be back to Casa Limon - it was a perfect stay.

Our stay was like a piece of paradise. The view and gardens were so beautiful.

The apartment was huge! It had a spacious living room and kitchen with full size fridge. A supermarket is 5 min walk and we were able to cook breakfast every morning since breakfast is hard to come by in Spain all for less than 10 euro in grocery for 3 days. Everything was comfortable and perfect. The pool that they have is so fancy with its waterfall and jets and can see some mountains in the background and is free to use. We used this when it was 76F, outside and it was almost perfect (maybe if it got nearer to 80F+, it would be ideal). The jacuzzi in the rooftop has a great view of the mountains, but as some have said previously, the jacuzzi doesn't get hot enough to be enjoyable and it is an additional cost to use which might not justify the cost to use it plus you need to wear a swimming cap, which you would have to purchase there if you didn't have it. It was 68F when we used it and we thought it was like a hot bath and got chilly from the wind. The hosts were extremely friendly and nice. We were the only guests for a couple of nights and we requested to use the jacuzzi and pool, and they were nothing more than welcoming to clean it for us to use during our stay. That was a big factor when I booked the stay, I wanted to soak among the mountains-view. The gym is the fanciest I've seen in any accommodation (better than a 4 star hotel). You can tell they put a lot of effort into the place to make it into a blissful get-away, plus a meditative corner on the first floor. If you want to visit the Alpujarra high villages, this is a perfect location to stay. We went as far as Trevélez (about one hour) (3 towns in one day). If you're used to the city, you'll think Orgiva is tiny and wonder if you chose the wrong town to stay in, but after visiting all the other towns, Orgiva is indeed the largest and has the most options for food and supermarket that's not Granada.

Piece and quiet, surroundings, mountains, jacuzzi, and the host were super respectful

There's so much to say about how great La Esperanza is. Our host, Alvaro was so kind and so attentive - a true hospitality professional that really made us feel at home. We opted for the Private Chef - Cone. I HIGHLY recommend this experience as his food was beyond exceptional. The property speaks for itself as being gorgeous, spotlessly clean and perfectly located to explore both Granada and the Costa Tropical. We plan on returning, only next time we'll bring friends and really take advantage of all the property has to offer. Again - hats off to both Alvaro and Cone, who offered the level of service you'd expect to find in any 5 star property.

Location comfortable bed and very spacious

The location of the apartment in the mountains close to the Alpujarra / Sierra Nevada, and only fifteen minutes from the beaches of the Mediterranean Sea, really appealed to us. We mainly came for nature, but various cities (Granada, Almeria, Malaga, etc.) are also easy to visit from this location. The adventurous road up towards Barranco Ferrer offers beautiful views over the hills, almond orchards, etc. Various walking options directly from the apartment, ideal also for our dog. The apartment was cosy, we lacked nothing and the owner was very helpful. Nice terrace too, which can be closed off (good for the dog). Wifi was ok, 4G reception was also good (in almost the entire region).
