We booked Hotel am Schlosspark due to its proximity to MUC and to its S8 station to Munchen OST. It was a lovely walk from the station to the hotel (even with suitcases). Thankful for a lift to move luggage to our room. Lovely sunroom breakfast area with wide variety of morning foods. And we were thankful to be removed from the hustle bustle of Oktoberfest in Munchen.

Rooms are nice and clean, well equipped. Breakfast is super complete, a lot of choices. OK for the price they charge. Pool and sauna are nice, although mostly full of kids not respecting the rules, making a lot of noise and you can forget this is supposed to be a relaxation area.

That was my second visit. Quite short bug still amazing. The service is excellent, breakfast still has amazing view on beautiful German roof tops. I do really love everything about this hotel including the location. Will return again and again.

It was just next to the airport (all we had to do is follow the signs from the airport arrival hall and it was easy to find, which was a relief after all the stress we had at the airport because of our cancelled flight). It was nice and cozy, with all the necessary equipment - perfect for people that stay without checked-in luggage like we did. There was a fridge, water boiler, tea and coffee, hair dryer, soap, shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, 2 bathing robes and 2 pairs of slippers. The staff were very friendly and helpful and even offered us new toothbrushes. In the suite there was 1 comfortable double bed and 1 double sofa bed, with 2 big TV screens in-between, the floor was covered with a soft carpet. There was one bathroom with a toilet, shower AND a separate bathtub. Then there was an additional mini bathroom with a toilet. It was very useful to have 2 showers and 2 toilets.

The Westin Grand Munich offers 2 restaurants, a beer garden, a bar and a 1,500 m² spa with 24-hour gym and a large indoor pool.
