United KingdomAn amazing place with stunning views and abundant wildlife. Lots of birds and we were lucky enough to see a whole troop of white-faced monkeys. Also awoke to the sound of Howler monkeys. Breakfast was very nice too.

CanadaOur visit to this lodge was unforgettable!The rooms and all the property have a very special charm:) Everything was clean and very much thought about. We enjoyed the pool. The breakfast was amazing and plenty, they cooked eggs from their own chickens!
Owners' hospitality was exceptional, it was pleasure to meet such a wonderful couple!
We hike the trails and visited hot springs pool nearby. Highly recommend this place for families and couples, you will not regret:)

LatviaWe stayed at Destino for one night and really liked it! The place is surrounded by nature, and on a clear, sunny day, you can see three volcanoes. One of the coolest features of the rooms is that one of the walls is made of natural rock, giving you the feeling of being in a cave - yet everything is modern and well-built.
The hosts were very welcoming too. Liz sent us lots of great recommendations for things to do in the area.
You can also enjoy an outdoor bath with hot thermal water that comes straight from the ground.
The highlight of the property is the cold river, which you can reach within a few minutes. In the Costa Rican heat, swimming in that fresh, flowing water was absolutely amazing.
We highly recommend this place to anyone looking to immerse themselves in nature and quiet, while still staying in a comfortable and thoughtfully designed house.

The property is bursting with fruit trees and animals! We especially loved our time at the on site spa. Wish we stayed here longer! We made chocolate and glad this was our last stop before the airport so we didn't have to take chocolate with us our whole trip as you get quite a lot! The room was super clean but use the bug net! We enjoyed the SPA and Cacao Tour very much! The cacao plantations are gorgeous. The staff is very friendly and the Cacao Tour is so interesting.
