Don Jair is a really nice host, he stayed late to welcome us, and the whole time we stayed he was very helpful and just seems like a really nice guy that cares about those that stay at his hotel. It's really clean and well looked after, and the views are spectacular! The breakfast consisted of fresh fruit, toast and eggs with cheese. It was the perfect size and the fruit in particular was delicious. It's only 12 minute walk to the central plaza, and there plenty to see on the walk there. Overall we loved our stay here

Everything was great. I was very surprised to see how elegant the hotel is and the hot-tub and steam baths they have. Great and very generous breakfast. Very calm, a bit outside the hyper-centre but located at walkable distance from everything. It was very charming and comfortable. The backyard, the room itself, the entrance hall, everything is very tastefully and nicely decorated and invites you to spend a god restful time at the hotel.

Everything: the location: central but quiet! The food: best food we had in Salento and best breakfast we had in Colombia The facilities: everything is new, and very clean. The hotel looks more outdoorsy and actually more charming than in the pictures, yet the rooms are modern and comfortable. There is a sauna and hot tubs that can booked on demand, also massage services. The staff: best of the best. We have been treated so nicely (and the rest of the guests too) and pampered all along the way. I am sure there are a lot of charming and excellent hotels in Salento, but I have tried this one and I would only repeat. I recommend it to anyone traveling to el Eje Cafetero, it’s an absolute gem with a great value for money!

I have had the pleasure of staying at this spectacular hotel on two occasions: with my husband in May 2023 and as a solo traveller in October 2022 (I just knew I had to go back with him). On both occasions, it was an extraordinary experience and exceeded my expectations (even after knowing what to expect from having experienced it before). This eco-friendly oasis nestled in the heart of Colombia's coffee region is arguably the best in Colombia and is one of my all-time favourites. I am especially fascinated by the hotel's unique concept and commitment to sustainability. From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the stunning architecture seamlessly blending with its surroundings. My room was a haven of comfort and elegance. The natural materials used in the furnishings and décor added a touch of luxury while maintaining an authentic connection to the environment. The floor-to-ceiling windows provided breathtaking views of the surroundingS and we enjoyed having our own jacuzzi and private pool in the Grand Master Suite. We took full advantage of this and enjoyed a floating breakfast one morning. We loved exploring the hotel's extensive grounds and bird-watching. BioHabitat Hotel truly embraces its commitment to sustainability. The property features eco-trails, allowing guests to immerse themselves in nature while learning about the flora and fauna. The hotel offers a range of wellness activities including yoga sessions. The hydro facilities at the brand new spa is also a sight to behold. There is also a tennis court on site and equipment provided. The dining experience at Basto RestoBar was a gastronomic delight. The Black Ravioli, Risotto and Deconstructed Chicken Stew were particularly delicious. Overall, my stay was unforgettable. The hotel seamlessly combines luxury, sustainability, and an immersive connection with nature. This hotel is a perfect choice. I can't wait to return.

Our stay at Casa Mochila was amazing. Pat was very kind and helped us with everything we needed. We also got cake for my birthday. We would reccomend everyone to stay here. It is very easy to catch the bus to Salento in front of the hostel, just wave to the driver and they will stop for you. The breakfast in the morning is very tasty! If you want to chill here; there are very nice hammocks available. 10/10 points for this place and the service!
