This is definitely one of the best places we have ever been! A true paradise in the jungle! From the first moment Thomas and his staff were phenomenal, hospitable, and available at all times. Truly incredible people who made our stay unforgettable. Thank you all for that! The private cabin is truly paradise! A beautiful facility, surrounded by incredible nature, and at the same time so luxurious! There are certainly few places where you can wake up with such a view and the chirping of countless birds! The breakfast is incredibly delicious and high quality! Thomas and the staff will make sure you get everything you want, from transportation to Tyrona Park to ordering dinner or looking the animals that live there! An unforgettable stay that I recommend to everyone!

We booked only 1 night at MadreSierra to bridge the gap between our Tayrona trip and our way back to Cartagena. What a mistake - we should have stayed a week!! This is the most hidden away paradise you can imagine. Everything from the service by lovely Fernando with complimentary welcome cocktails to bringing our bags up and down to the room and turning up our jacuzzi. This was an utter surprise and delight for our tired hiking bodies. They’ve accommodated our room changes even though they didn’t have to, made us complimentary brownies when we mentioned we craved chocolate and simply have been fantastic in every regard. This place also - just wow! You have WiFi to work, amazing nature, great food, natural pools in the river and a regular pool about to be finished.

Diana is a truly amazing host! I’ve never stayed somewhere where the manager has been so friendly, welcoming and helpful before and during my stay! Thank you so much for that. The hotel is cute - really pretty and well kept gardens and a pool to use as well. The rooms are basic but you get exactly what you pay for. Would recommend to anyone who wants great value for money when visiting Tayrona park.

It's an absolutely stunningly beautiful place in a beautiful scenery. It is well kept, super clean and comfortable. The rooms a spacious and nice, my bathroom was sooooooo beautiful with outdoor shower, loved it!! The owners thought of every little detail: A hall for yoga and meditation, hammocks, pool, breakfast included. The owners were total sweethearts and I was sad that I only stayed one night. Total recommendation!!!

Fantastic food from Carlos the cook and fantastic hospitality from Charles and his team! The site is beautiful and directly next to the river. So don’t forget you mosquito spray! Very helpful team, we asked them to store our luggage for two days because we stayed in tayrona for two nights and it was no problem at all. They even offered us to use the pool area afterwards.

Simply amazing! The room has a wonderful view of the sea. The bed comes with a mosquito net, although we didn't see any insects/mosquitos in the room. The staff was very friendly, the restaurant was very good with a nice view. Highly recommended!
