Great hotel in a great location. Very good breakfast and very helpful staff. We particularly appreciated the convenience of the shuttle service into Zermatt when loaded with skis and boots etc. The drop off point in Zermatt is a short walk to the Sunegga Funicular. Have already booked again for next year. The free car park is also a big advantage, could leave our car there and forget about it for the duration.

Everything about to property was breathtaking, beautiful property inside out, each area inside the hotel had its own identity and everything just worked and perfect harmony. But, the outside pool was the cherry on the cake, amazing view of the mountains and even though it's winter now, when you are inside the pool you don't feel any cold at all, it's extremely comfortable and pleasant.

We had a truly wonderful stay. There is strictly nothing negative to say about our short spell at the Matterhorn Lodge. The room was exceptionally clean, quiet, cosy, but with modern facilities. Spa was also super clean and welcoming. Staff were ultra nice, and came to pick us from the train station, even though we were actually just a short walk away. Breakfast was wonderful, and we were both sad to leave. We literally can't wait to go back!

We loved this hotel! The staff were lovely and friendly and helped us in any way they could and gave us lots of recommendations for the slopes and good restaurants. The location was also excellent for skiers and the facilities were wonderful, especially the sauna and the breakfast buffet.
