It was the best decision of our trip to Belgium to stay at the B&B Colombe Blanche. Every tiny detail of this wonderful place is filled with the deepest love of the owners. We would definitely recommend to stay at the B&B Colombe Blanche to get some great rest, accompanied with the best service and a lovely atmosphere. We are certainly coming back next time !

The most extraordinary place we have ever stay. This hotel puts many 5* in the shadows. Beautifully decorated to the highest standard and cleaned to a higher standard. Upon entering one feels at home and the staff were going above and beyond what was expected. Our room was enormous; tastefully decorated and extremely clean. The en-suite was spotless. Having travelled over 1800 miles from Bulgaria in the previous days we were given was can best be described as breakfast fit for a king, incredible cooked hot food, fresh breads, cheeses, hams, great coffee and orange juice. ( and then we were given pancakes. On the advice of the staff we visited the local town of Damme which itself was another great experience . I really wish I could have given a higher score in the ratings

Great atmosphere, the scent of the place raptures your senses, truly a hide out from the world within a city that itself is a step back to more elevated and beautiful times. We have been traveling and staying at different hotels in Belgium and the Netherlands in the past 7 months and this has definitely been the best experience of all, the facilities are of the utmost quality and cleanliness. The place is within the historic center of town. After seeing the hospitality sector in this corner of Europe up close for several months now we can say that this superb hide out is truly a work of love and a jewel within the city. We shall be coming back. The rooms are like no other we have been to, excellent quality for the price. Very unique.

The property was located on the second floor but had a lift and the decor was clean and modern. The room was very spacious and warm with lovely dimmer lights. The shower exceeded all expectations with six water outlets. Breakfast changed slightly every day, was made up of many tiny dishes providing a lot of choice and tea, coffee and water was free 24/7. The king size bed was very comfortable and the tv had lots of channels. It was very quiet and the hosts worked very hard to accommodate everyone’s needs. A really beautiful bed and breakfast property and well worth a 10.

This small B&B, with just five rooms, offers an authentic experience that beautifully blends with the romantic and historical vibe of the city. From the moment we arrived, hosts Erika and Dietrich made us feel truly welcome. Erika prepares a delicious homemade breakfast every morning — something to genuinely look forward to, with fresh, local ingredients and thoughtful touches. Over breakfast or in passing, they’re always ready with great recommendations on what to see, where to eat, and which bars to visit. They even provided a personalised map with tips and guidelines, which made exploring so much more enjoyable. A special mention goes to their little dog, Flannel, who greeted us every day with the friendliest tail wags and brought an extra layer of warmth to our stay. The B&B itself is clean, centrally located, and filled with character. Dietrich’s unique collection of curiosities and artwork scattered around the house adds a magical, almost storybook-like feeling to the place. And the casual, warm chats with the hosts made us feel like we were staying with old friends rather than at a regular accommodation. Le Flâneur is perfect for travellers wanting more than a soulless hotel room — it’s a stay you’ll remember. Highly recommended.
