Hotel Wende is not a terribly pretty but very comfortable hotel with friendly and helpful reception staff, spacious rooms, comfy beds, well designed bathrooms, ceiling fans or A/C and clever mosquito screens out to the balcony. We all slept incredibly well.
If, like us, you are looking for a very comfortable base with free parking, good food and in walking distance from the town and the lake and not a top notch 4* hotel, then this is a good place to stay.
