Great restaurant where staff were friendly and helpful. Enjoyed the Shrimp and grits and soups. Our first experience of Outer Banks and we weren’t disappointed. Location for exploring excellent. Panoramic views of Sound at sunset. Enjoyed Wright Brothers Park and Duck.

Located just 4.7 miles from the beach, this Manteo inn features free Wi-Fi and free parking. A microwave, refrigerator and coffee-making facilities come standard in each room at Scarborough Inn. We liked the place. The most important thing for us was that everything was clean and quiet at night. Everything worked perfectly. So I think we'll be back.

Comfort Inn South Oceanfront is just steps away from the white sands shores of the Atlantic Ocean. Excellent complimentary breakfast with a good variety (hot eggs and a meat, cold cereal, self-made waffles, etc.). The coffee machine did not run out and they had both decaf and regular, plus juices, yogurt. They started at 6:30 am and they cleaned the tables after customers left. Breakfast is covered by the room fee so it was an excellent buy.
