Set in Augusta, 1 km from Augusta Museum of History, Olde Town Inn offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking and a bar. Had a lovely stay at The Olde Town Inn. Our room was lovely, clean and very comfortable and the location good, but the 10 rating really goes to the overall experience we enjoyed there. We stayed for two nights at New Year, so was able to enjoy both a comedy evening and on New Years Eve itself an excellent blues band in the Fox's Lair - the basement bar of the Inn. The Fox's Lair is a really welcoming and friendly bar - in fact we felt as if we had been invited to a friends party! It has a reputation for attracting good musicians and it certainly lived up to the billing. Many basement music bars have an unkempt and grubby feel but this is certainly not the case here. The host Melinda is really nice and extremely helpful. We would definitly recommend.

This bed and breakfast is located in Savannah's Historic District on Lafayette Square. Features include a full Southern breakfast and unique guest rooms with free WiFi. The breakfasts were really good!! Loved the cocktail hour in the afternoons. Staff was very helpful with places to see, eat!!

Absolutely amazing! Definitely recommend booking if you get the chance. Short distance to the filming locations of the walking dead. Spotless clean great room layout and the bed is huge and very comfortable. Best sleep we had in the US hands down! We are traveling with two small kids one ten month old, one two year old the host mentioned something about only having one baby cot/crib on the property so that might be something to consider when booking but there was masses of room in the bed for our baby with us. Overall a great experience and definitely a highlight stay of our roadtrip across the US.

The Sparrow Grove Manor is a lovely place with 4 suite in Monroe, Georgia, about halfway between Atlanta and Athens. It‘s a nicely renovated old house, having preserved its original Southern charme. Our room was spacious with an adjacent bathroom, all very clean. All access information is provided online and access is by an entrance key. However, communication with the owner was easy and answers were provided very quickly. We’d like to come back!

The Twelve Oaks Bed & Breakfast has a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, garden, a shared lounge and terrace in Covington. Very comfortable beds. Unique shower in the Catherine suite. Property is beautiful. Breakfast was a lot of food. We didn’t ask but wondering if they would have options for vegans ( everything was animal products based), so if you are a vegan better ask. It is very close walking distance to the city square. Lots of books to read while in the B&B about civil war etc. Wine and Cheese at 5-6pm every night was a blast. Love meeting new people.
