I have stayed at this hotel on a number of occasions and it never fails to impress. The rooms are very comfy, the staff are very welcoming and the food is excellent. I had the seafood pasta for dinner one evening and it surpassed meals I have had in the best restaurants in Sydney and elsewhere in the UK. Light, fresh and with a generous portion of seafood - delicious. It is lovely to sit in the garden (weather permitting) and enjoy the glorious views of the beautiful scenery all around. I will definitely visit again, and have no hesitation in recommending it to others.

The facility, staff, location and general atmosphere were excellent. We stayed two days and had many lovely walks that we started right at the Inn. We enjoyed the front lounge with fire and the pub/restaurant were two different rooms. So.. lots of places to "be" when out of your room.

En medio del idílico y tranquilo paisaje del Distrito de los Lagos El Buttermere Fells, the Bridge Hotel se encuentra entre Buttermere y Crummock Water. Perfect location central to all the beautiful walks. Views out of the window were stunning, little stream with a bridge and Mountain View’s with lovely balcony to sit outside and enjoy watching the world go by. Property was very clean, beds very comfortable, towels in a swan were amazing to come in to on your first night. lovely big drawing room to sit in and relax with a big fire that gets lit every night. Breakfast room is large overlooking the bridge, river and Mountain View. Idyllic setting for a perfect relaxing stay. Couldn’t be any more perfect.

Esta posada tradicional del siglo XVII de Cumbria se encuentra en el valle Eden, entre las ciudades mercado antiguas de Appleby y Penrith, y cuenta con bar acogedor con chimenea de leña y aparcamiento... Great out of the way location, local pub and meeting house, this gem is tucked right outside Penrith. We were very late arriving and they were kind enough to make us sandwiches even though the kitchen was closed. So fun to meet some of the locals and sample some local beer.
