Location and food excellent but that was to be expected. What made the extra difference was the friendliness and efficiency of the staff.

Situated in the peaceful village of West Knighton, New Inn – Dorchester is a former 16th-century coaching inn. A perfect English pub that reminds me of faulty towers in a good way. Beautiful village but classy food.

The Inn is just beautiful - the quintessential English pub in a gorgeous village. The staff were all extremely friendly, check-in was easy and the room- described as snug - was indeed snug but very well designed. The bed was comfortable and from the homemade oaty biscuits to the cute bottle of local milk, it was all lovely. However, the stand out feature was the incredible food at dinner. Not only was it beautifully presented with stunning garnishes from their own garden but the dishes were thoughtful, original and totally delicious! Highly recommended all round!

The Nags Head - Room only accommodation is a traditional, CAMRA approved Inn offering room only accommodation in Lyme Regis. Staff were really helpful. Cosy little pub downstairs from the room.
